Yee Haw… again! Exciting New Equine Program at our Atlanta Camp
Just like our second camp in North Carolina, horses will be also be an exciting addition to our second year in Atlanta this March!
We are pleased to announce that Sheryl Jordan and her team from the Ford Plantation’s Equine Connections program will be bringing three therapeutic ponies to run a communication activity at camp.
Campers will have the opportunity to choose a pony they connect with and learn how to interact with their new friend using tips from the teachers and some simple props.

Brent (Dick Sesler our Director/Founder’s son) enjoying this program during a recent family vacation.
This program is bound to be a blast for everyone regardless of what level of experience or comfort one has with these four legged friends.
Moon River, Golden Aspen, and Sugar Maple are trained experts in working with people and are bound to be fantastic additions to our Camp Blue Skies family.
Sheryl’s human assistants are also highly trained with working with people and horses.
Angela Nunez, Sheryl’s daughter, was literally born to do this type of work.
Rich Harris is not only our founder’s nephew, but through his connection to the Equine Connections team, he has developed a passion for horses both in the US and overseas. It is safe to say Rich will get the “furthest traveled” award at camp once he completes his flight from Dubai to join us!
Mary Kay Jans is a close family friend of the Sesler family. Her energy and enthusiasm for life is contagious and we are so pleased to have her.
We can’t wait to participate and provide such a unique and meaningful program for our community.
Liz and the Blue Skies Team.
