Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® supports Camp Blue Skies

The Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® (ACBR) selected our camps for adults with developmental disabilities as one of the nonprofits it will be supporting for the next three years.

Longtime Camp Blue Skies volunteer and supporter Pat Murphy (on left in the first photo) serves on the ACBR Board of Directors and graciously represented our camps at the recent Battle of The Broker Bands, one of the group's signature fundraisers. Hundreds of people attended the popular event featuring a “Totally ’80s” theme on June 9 in Atlanta.

“ACBR is delighted to be a supporter of Camp Blue Skies. It is our goal to give back to the community not only financially but also by volunteering,” said Robin Godwin, Executive Vice President. “Camp Blue Skies provides such a valuable service and we appreciate the involvement and support of ACBR Board of Director Member, Pat Murphy, in both organizations.”

ACBR has been the voice for Commercial Real Estate in the Atlanta area for over a century. It is one of the largest commercial REALTOR® associations in the nation with over 2,200 members. The other nonprofits the Battle of the Broker Bands benefited include Families First and FCS (Focused Community Strategies).

"We are grateful for not only the financial support but look forward to connecting with the members and getting them to our March camps as volunteers," said Dick Sesler.
